Carl’s own words reveal an openness for new solutions. The interior design at Lilla Hyttnäs is full of unconventional solutions, but Carl’s room is perhaps the most unconventional.
  How does one create a pleasant atmosphere in an intercommunicating room measuring 5 x 4.5 metres? The solution was to place the bed in the middle of the floor, construct it as a piece of multifunctional furniture and create the interior around it.
  In this ingeniously constructed bed, everything is within easy access, bedside table, books, bench, steps, storage space, etc.
  The morning light enters the room through the many-coloured stained glass in the leaded windows. Red, white and blue contrast wonderfully with the deal floor and the white walls while around the bed Karin’s textiles enhance the overall effect.
