Carl Larsson-gården
The entrance to Carl Larsson-gården begins with a small downward slope just inside the gate,
which is always open during our opening hours. The upper part of the slope is paved, and then it becomes gravel.
Parking
There is a disabled parking space on the right before the entrance at Carl Larsson-gården.
You cannot drive down to the house by car.
During the high season, the Carl Larsson-gården’s car park can be found as soon as you come
into the village, on the right, opposite the petrol station, when coming from road 862 from Falun.
It takes approximately 10 minutes to walk from the car park down to Carl Larsson-gården.
During the low season, there is parking just above Carl Larsson-gården, adjacent to the Hyttstugan restaurant.
The house – a monument
Unfortunately, the house is not adapted for people with reduced mobility and is therefore
not suitable for those visiting with a walker, wheelchair or push chair.
The house has high door thresholds and a staircase leading to the upper floor.
The garden
In the garden of Carl Larsson-gården, however, it is possible to get around on most of the tracks and
paths with a walker, wheelchair or push chair. The yard and the tracks are covered with gravel.
Toilets
The toilets, one of which is a disabled toilet, are located adjacent to the shop at Carl Larsson-gården.
There is also a toilet at the car park when you first come into the village, on the right side,
opposite the petrol station, which is open all year round.
Bags
Visitors are not allowed to bring large handbags, rucksacks, umbrellas or ice cleats into the house.
Dogs
Dogs are allowed in the garden, provided they do not disturb other visitors, are kept
on a lead and their owners pick up after them. No dogs are allowed inside the house.
Photography

Photography is not permitted inside the house.
You may take photographs outdoors and in the garden. Please be considerate of other visitors.
Photography for commercial use is not permitted.
